Customers of The Automated Office have three choices of
claim submission. Direct file transfer to a payer. Clearinghouse
file transfer for distribution to payers. Clearinghouse file
transfer for print and mail.
Direct
Payer Listing:
We set up Direct Payer submission based on demand from our
customers. We will set up Direct Payer submission for any large
payer upon request.
Clearinghouse Payer
Listing:
Participating Payers are insurers that do not charge
providers for submission of claims through the clearinghouse. This
generally includes all group health plan insurers.
Clearinghouse Print and
Mail:
Any payer that can not be billed electronically
